Microscopy
Harvard Medical School is well equipped for high-resolution cryo-EM. The new cryo-EM center at Harvard has two FEI Titan Krios microscopes both with K3 direct-electron detectors and phase plates. Further microscope time is available at the cryo-EM facility at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Computing Resources
We have access to the Orchestra high-performance computing cluster, which has over 5,000 compute cores and several Petabytes of network-attached storage. We are further supported by SBGrid. With a library of over 270 scientific applications including software necessary to solve structures by cryo-EM, this frees up our time to do more science.
